Maersk declares the Dry Port Surcharge - Export (DPS) for shipments originating from Amritsar destined for Mundra and Pipavav.


Maersk has introduced the Dry Port Surcharge – Export (DPS) for 20-foot dry containers shipping from Amritsar to Mundra and Pipavav, effective from January 14, 2024, for non-Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) countries and February 11, 2024, for FMC countries in India. This surcharge adjustment, crucial for sustaining global services, sees an increase from the old rate of 7475 INR to the new rate of 10000 INR per container.
