Beidahuang Fengyuan Invests in Russian Processing, Deepens Grain Partnership

Beidahuang Fengyuan Group, a Chinese corporation specializing in highly processed grain products such as flour and pasta, is relocating its production from Harbin to the Novosibirsk region in Russia. The Novosibirsk-based company, JSC Novosibirskkhleboproduct, has announced a joint investment project in cooperation with Beidahuang Fengyuan Group for this move. The project involves moving the deep grain processing plant to the Tatar elevator's base in the Novosibirsk region.

The decision to move the plant to the Novosibirsk region is driven by several factors that make the region attractive to Chinese partners. These factors include reasonable prices for gas and electricity, accessible land, and logistical convenience, with the Trans-Siberian Railway passing through the region. Additionally, the Novosibirsk region serves as a crucial grain raw material base for Beidahuang Fengyuan Group.

While the specific investment volume for this project has not been disclosed, it signifies a significant collaboration between Chinese and Russian entities in the grain processing industry, potentially benefiting both regions in terms of production and economic cooperation.
